Fashion brand design
The Doodle Dog creative team is proud to reveal a new custom fashion brand design for Emerald Black, a New York City fashion designer.
When the founder behind this NYC fashion brand, Esmeralda, ventured into creating SocialTanks she decided to create her own fabric blend. Quality was important, the neckline, armholes and waist, were all tailored to fit at a specific measurement to enhance a woman’s silhouette, appeal to her feminine shape and be more than your basic tank.
When it came to design, classic minimalism with something a little different to accent the design was the goal. While working on the logo design and brand in general, we focused this same level of attention to detail, clean lines, and simplistic beauty to her brand to make it chic and timeless.
Take a look at the brand board we created to kick off the project. A brand board is the first design delivery we provide during a custom brand design project. It helps set the tone for the rest of the project, with the initial logo design concept, color palette, typography selections and mood/inspiration board.
A lookbook / media kit full of the various shirt styles was designed to be printed or digitally sent to potential retailers interested in carrying the products.
