In March 2018, the Woodbine Mansion was purchased by the Levin family. That’s when Becky and her family reached out to us to create a brand for this historic venue as they restored it to its 1931 state. Becky founded Pearl Events Austin in 2010, and has been planning fairytale weddings and custom events ever since.
When Becky started working with us they wanted something that would appeal to the modern bride while still being deeply rooted in the mansion’s history. Inspired by this Victorian-style mansion we created a simplified version of the intricate Victorian monograms from the era with a clean supporting serif type. We stuck with a subtle palette that is both elegant and period appropriate.



I’ve been in the event industry since 2016. Started at Vintage Villas as a venue sales manager. Moved to Whole Foods HQ downtown to be an Event Planner and Offsite Catering Manager. At that point I had catering and venue experience. In 2010 started Pearl Events Austin. I have always been interested in opening and venue and had to wait until I found the perfect spot!
What is unique about your business?
We are Historic Landmark built in 1895. Not only do we have outdoor venue space but we also have a large indoor space for events inside the mansion. It’s the coolest!!

Beyonce.
Where do you find inspiration?
Nature, color, interior design, fashion, art and INSTAGRAM!
Why did you decide to work with Doodle Dog?
I wanted to find a local company that knew the event industry.
What’s your favorite part of your new site or new brand?
LOGO – I LOVE a logo. You all helped put all my ideas into the logo – the W and M + the Columns +The colors.. love it!
What advice would you give to someone considering a rebrand or relaunch?
Don’t rush it and ask others their opinion.
