Remember how we told you about that awesome conference you could attend to boost your business? Well, BeSage is coming up fast! There’s still time to snag a registration ticket before they’re gone. What sets BeSage apart from countless other entrepreneurial conferences? Topics that aren’t covered anywhere else, taught by real-world experienced leaders from the wedding industry. We love seeing a few of our favorite familiar faces from the industry at BeSage. Today we’re highlighting a few alumni that have joined the Doodle Dog Family over the years and are alumni of past BeSage Conferences:
Five Grain: These Chicago-based event coordinators focus on the logistical planning details to pull off incredible seamless celebrations. We recently revamped their online presence with a clean layout, boosted gallery functionality, and (of course!) plenty of personality. Joan Cinquegrani and her team are leading the industry with impressively coordinated weddings, theme parties, and more. It was a treat to be part of Five Grain’s brand growth in this past year, and we can’t wait to see what they do next.
The Good Beginning by Beth Helmstetter: The Good Beginning is a revolutionary idea that allows couples to forgo a traditional registry in favor of charitable donations to their favorite organizations. Our web design captures a sleek and sophisticated personality, and provides the functional framework for couples to create their unique charity registries. It’s crazy to think this wildly successful idea was still in its beginning phases back at BeSage!
Glenn Roush of LeForce Entertainment: It’s always more fun with the team from LeForce Entertainment around. Glenn Roush and his team of talented DJs overhauled their online presence this year as well. The new LeForce website strikes the perfect balance between professional and party. Unique diagonal layouts are a standout feature, and the individual DJ pages make it easy to get to know each entertainer.
Branching Out: one of our most-loved brands, Branching Out Events exudes style and sophistication. Their gold-foiled monogram logo has caught the eye of many industry peers, and their animated site balances a clean layout with touches of custom personalization. They’ve even branded T-shirts and vans with this elegant logo design. We’ve been known to pick up a Branching Out centerpiece for many occasions!
Sweet Pea: If you know Doodle Dog, you probably know Sweet Pea! Started by Kelly Simants, the serial entrepreneur behind Sage Wedding Pros, Planning for Dudes, and Parties on the Porch, the Sweet Pea team now plans elegant events in Dallas, New York, Seattle and beyond. Their custom hand-lettered logo combines with modern illustrations for a classy brand personality that can’t be beat:
Highland Avenue Events: these pretty pastels and delicate architectural logo still have us swooning. The clever badge integration might just be our favorite part of this brand. Owner Lindsey’s boutique planning services have been a big hit here in Austin, and we’re excited to see her business keep growing.
Tami Winn: one of the leading planners in Ft. Worth, Tami Winn pulls off luxury polished events with ease. Her recent website update speaks to the high caliber of her custom events. With pretty blush rose gold, and watercolor elements, her online presence is the picture of feminine elegance.
Splendor Films: huge shout out to Jeff Coombs from Splendor Films for helping us accomplish some of our own goals this past year. Our site would not stand out without his awesome videography! In turn, we gave Splendor Films a refreshed online presence that is both modern and distinctive. It’s been cool to see Jeff’s big ideas for his business grow to now include commercial videography in addition to his wedding-focused services. We’re confident there are still big things ahead for this Dallas-based brand:
The Invisible Hostess and The Wedding Mentor: one of our most recent additions to the Doodle Dog Family, The Invisible Hostess brings sassy personality and tons of fun to wedding planning. Their #girlgang-inspired site has distinctive character and undeniable spunk. Sheena Kalso then expanded The Invisible Hostess to incorporate a sister brand, The Wedding Mentor—an indispensable resource for new event-industry entrepreneurs. Cheers to Sheena and her team for taking big strides this year:
Other BeSage alumni in the Doodle Dog family include: Petals Couture, Events by Kristin, Jacqueline Events, Christy Matthews Events, Keestone Events, Charming Events, and more. Needless to say, BeSage is packed with industry leaders who really know their stuff. It’s always a blast to see familiar faces, and to meet new ones! BeSage cuts out the fluff to give you the real education you need to take your business to the next level… all in a friendly collaborative environment. The sun, sand, and tacos are just a bonus.
