Doodle Dog Creative is a creative agency headquartered in Dallas and Austin, Texas, specializing in branding solutions, website design and development and search engine optimization. We create smile worthy concepts that capture personality and inspire brands.
We are all smiles today, with the exciting launch of Sacramento and San Francisco Bay Area wedding planner, Inspirations By Gina. This rebrand and new site launch all started with a simple sketch and a creative brief.
During our creative meeting we were able to get a real feel for the brand personality and tone that Inspirations By Gina was looking for. We knew we wanted to give the site and brand a sense of playfulness, but still ensure a professional sophistication. We knew Gina was looking for a brand that could embody a mixture of Kate Spade inspiration with a fresh-eclectic style.
Take a look at the new brand design, and a few of the elements of the identity.

How long have you been in business? Since 2008
What do you do? Inspirations by Gina is a boutique planning and styling company located in Sacramento, CA but plan and coordinate events all over Northern California. Our specialty is design and décor, but we also has a strong emphasis in logistics and day of coordination.
Why did you start your business? I started because I always had a love for entertaining, planning and crafting since I was a young girl. I would always plan weddings and other special events for friends and families, so it was a natural transition to start the business.
What is unique about your business? My philosophy is to provide a simple elegant style while remaining passionate for each of my clients and each event. I have instilled in my staff to treat each of our clients with utmost regard and want them to feel a personal touch to their affair. Here at Inspirations by Gina we are dedicated to providing supreme designing, planning and coordinating services to ensure that each client has a celebration they have envisioned. We will provide seamless and innovative solutions to keep the whole event organized and relaxed so that they can enjoy the day of their event, whether it is a wedding, birthday party or corporate event.
What is the process like to work with you? When a potential client contacts Inspirations by Gina, we like to have a 30 minute one on one to find out what the potential client envisions for their event. We discuss budgets, venues and what they have done already in the planning process and what they need help with. We also determine if we will be a good fit for the client at that time. Once the contract is signed, we sit down with the client and start working on an extensive checklist that Inspirations by Gina has to keep the client on track. It’s really about communication from start to finish; we make sure that we stay on top of everything so that the day of the event, there are no surprises or mishaps. We also pride ourselves in NOT discussing or disclosing any information in regards to the client to other professionals or other clients.
Why did you decide to work with Doodle Dog? Doodle Dog came highly recommended to me by a number of colleagues here in California. I was impressed with the transformation of their websites and decided to give Doodle Dog a call.
What’s your favorite part of your new look? I love the logo and the clean look of the website. It clearly defines who Inspirations by Gina is as a company.
What advice would you give to someone considering a rebrand or relaunch? Do a lot of research and think about who you want to market to and what direction you want to take your company. Trust your gut instincts and take a risk with you.
Tell us about your family. I am engaged to be married to a wonderful man that I have known for five years. I have a son who lives on the east coast and two fur kids, a labradoodle named Brandy and a standard poodle named Rocky.
What’s on your Playlist? Prince, Kem, a little bit of Kanye West, Jay Z and a personal favorite is the rock band Journey.
Where do you like to shop? If money were no object, I would lavish myself in nothing but Kate Spade and Louis Vouitton! However, this lady takes pleasure in mixing modern and vintage pieces by shopping at discount and consignment stores. I love going to San Francisco and New York for the extreme shopping experience!
Describe yourself and your style. I am definitely a Kate Spade type of girl one minute, but can easily rock jeans and cowboy boots or flip flops and a maxi dress. When I am at a client’s event, I wear my signature green watch, black dress and pearls. Green is my favorite color!
Where do you find inspiration? I find inspiration everywhere! It’s not always in a bridal magazine; sometimes I will be at a restaurant and a place mat will inspire me. A certain flower or even food will give me great inspiration. I love to pin on Pinterest. What on earth did I do before Pinterest????? Sometimes I will create a design plan based on a napkin from a birthday party. My philosophy is that there is “inspiration” everywhere, you just have to open your eyes, touch and trust your instincts.

Something for everyone – that’s the core of Jessie Blum’s not-so-typical wedding philosophy at Eclectic Unions. Eclectic Unions is ready to provide the services that may be a little tough to scour out elsewhere. For the offbeat bride, same sex partners, or eloping lovebirds, Eclectic Unions takes on the challenge of a non-traditional weddings or ceremonies. With such a unique brand personality, Eclectic Unions needed for a site that captured its forward-thinking character as well as its respectful professional attitude.
This new identity and website design juxtaposes a bold geometric print with a soft paper texture to express Eclectic Unions’s brand personality. In addition, a much-needed logo update brings Eclectic Unions’s look up to a polished (yet slightly edgy) look that will give clients a better idea of the unique high-caliber personalized event they can plan at Eclectic Unions. With custom-designed business cards and letterhead, Jessie’s professional look is complete. We’re excited to give Jessie and her business a look that will help grow her client base and that better reflects her one-of-a-kind wedding planning services!

Say hello to Savannah, Georgia wedding planner Rustic to Ritz! We love the southern charm that owner, Anna Swanson has, and wanted her new identity to exemplify that. The sweet logo design brings a simple Georgia silhouette together with a lovely hand-painted peach and textured banner, giving Rustic to Ritz a southern personality all its own.
We brought Rustic to Ritz to life online with a new custom WordPress website design perfect for a wedding planner, looking to display a portfolio of beautiful images and service offerings. We used a nature-inspired color palette to maintain Rustic to Ritz’s organic look, and a soft textured background to keep the site clean. Next, we tackled all of the other brand communications to complete a cohesive brand startegy at every customer touchpoint, with business cards, a facebook profile magazine ad, sticker, letterhead and more!
We are excited to launch Rustic to Ritz’s new site, and can’t wait to cheer on Anna’s success as she continues to plan beautiful Georgia weddings!
Rentals guru Chris Cowan has been in the wedding and events industry for over a decade – but this Texas expert needed an updated look that would express her tasteful modern flair. We’re proud to bring Confetti Rentals an entirely new look for her brand and website, it’s exactly the polished, chic, fabulous look Chris needed to show off her exquisite rental collection and designer’s eye. The sophisticated color palette in black, white, gold, and blush is accented by confetti designs and an on-trend calligraphy inspired logo.
Kathy Chandler came to us in search of a new logo design to represent her wedding and event business. She wanted something that was in a script style of lettering as well as a very feminine design that would help her target her brides. I can truly say this is one of my favorite logo designs that we’ve done. I love the soft, delicate and romantic lettering, and the whimsical vines that are used in the icon. Take a look and tell us what you think!
