We can’t say enough about Ashley and her team at Wedding 101 in Nashville, Tennessee! We were given the opportunity to work on their new website that would serve both (and potentially additional) markets that they cater toward. We built, what we call a master site, where there is one large site that features their blog, general information and more, and then 2 sub sites that all tie into one. The sub sites (one for each city) are fully customizable by their respective team members. Each has its own about page, events, page, testimonials page, contact forms, and even a live chat (where you can talk directly to the team members) etc. to really allow for the different markets to function on their own while still acting as a part of the overarching brand and website. We wanted this site to first and foremost solve the problem of catering to the two different cities, but second be easy to navigate and pretty to look at! Take a look and let us know what you think! www.wedding101.net

How long have you been in business? 4 years
Short summary describing your business: Wedding 101 is a wedding planning library connecting brides with wedding professionals that meet the brides’ style and price point at no charge to the brides. For our hand-selected, invited paying vendors, it provides these professionals with a professional location to meet with brides and other clientele, as well as a living marketing medium to promote their individual services and/or products.
Why did you start your business? My business partner and I saw a need for a pretty place where brides could find inspiration, answers to the endless questions regarding wedding planning, and fully-vetted, fabulous professionals to make their weddings days perfect.
What is unique about your business? Wedding planning is overwhelming. Wedding 101 offers a service and, most importantly, a place to brides and vendors alike that makes this process enjoyable and simplified by providing brides with educated, trustworthy, and experienced bridal consultants at their service daily at no charge to the brides.
What is the process like to work with you? A bride can pop in or make an appointment to consult with one of our bridal consultants to find all of the vendors needed to make her day what she envisions, not to mention to help make the wedding planning process enjoyable. Following this consultation, our bridal consultants will connect with the vendors to handle availability and making appointments with said vendors for the brides. All of these meetings can take place at Wedding 101.
Why did you decide to work with Doodle Dog? I highly respect the recommendations of Sage Wedding Pros. Doodledog Creative was one of the recommended website designers on their blog site. A Day in the life of you consist of: It must begin with coffee and Hazelnut creamer (except at the holidays, I substitute Peppermint Mocha of course!) and a few minutes with my husband. Reading a daily devotion. Getting my girls off to school. Working out with a personal trainer at my home (as that is the only way it will happen.) Going to Wedding 101 where each day holds something different. Taxi’ing my girls to dance and basketball. Making Dinner. A few minutes of Modern Family or Law and Order reruns. Sleeping. 🙂
