Destination planning company K Portfolio was looking for a new logo to exemplify their international expertise and love for planning events abroad. From Paris, France to Sydney, Australia, they can make sure that any factors that may get lost in translation are taken care of before you head to your destination. The logo we created to give K Portfolio has a vintage and whimsical feel with a hint of wanderlust, for those curious in exploring far away places. The mint and pale orange are the perfect (and unique) pairing for the palette. Take a close look at the suitcases that are even tagged and ready to go. Check out the new logo and business cards!
Happy Friday! Happy Inspiration board day.
Today’s inspiration board makes me happy. I love the navy and lilac combination paired with the rustic vintage lanterns and the chocolate plaid suit.

The simple beautiful white cake, by Sugar Bee sweets, with tons of tiny little white flower details match the soft white hydrangeas and delicate detail of the invitation.
The Invitation has a romantic navy pattern and a rustic burlap belly button and thin navy blue ribbon tied around it all. All perfect for a special day to remember.
I can’t tell you how happy I felt when I finally finished putting my ideas on paper for my personal wedding invitation. I don’t know if I was more happy to get it done because I had so much on my plate or if it was because it’s exactly what I wanted it to look like, but either way I was HAPPY! So I can only hope that whenever I show a bride her custom invitation that was designed around her ideas, her colors, or her and her fiance’s loves in life… she feels the same way I did about my own invitation!
So this is my wedding invitation designed around our personalities and style, around the style of the venue (the Filter Building on White Rock Lake) and around the theme of our wedding. A touch of nautical, a touch of vintage flair and a touch of our fun-loving personalities (check out the RSVP). Our big day is May 29th (about 7 weeks from now) and after that I will show you how it all comes together with the venue and decoration styles that we use. Enjoy!
