Here’s a sneak peak at the very country-chic designs that we created for her.   And a few shots of her website:   Get to know Jamie and her business… How long I’ve been in business:  Since 2011 What I do:  Wedding Day Creations is there from the Engagement to the Honeymoon! Wedding Day Creations offers a full service wedding planning package with complimentaryevent design as well as a weekend coordination package. Services include vendor referrals, custom décor plans, wedding day coordination, coordination of wedding weekend activities, and so much more. Why I started my business:  I have a degree and a passion for interior design but there are regulations to follow and hours you must complete before creating your own business. My husband is always gone for work. He has been gone for up to 3 weeks with a day home just to be gone for another 3 weeks. So, in order for me to work I needed flexible hours and to work from home. I needed to start my own business if I desired to work. I love being a stay at home mom but I also wanted to continue my passion of design. I created Wedding Day Creations after getting so many compliments from our wedding and from people encouraging me to be a planner. It works out perfectly. I love weddings, I love fairytales, and I love my brides. What is unique about my business: I offer brides piece of mind. The feeling that knowing everything is under control is priceless. I can also save bride’s time and costly mistakes. I will make the planning process a fun and enjoyable experience from engagement to honeymoon. This is my passion. I limit my brides per year. I give each and everyone one of my brides the attention they deserve.  I walk them through the planning process step by step. Every bride is different; every wedding is different. I don’t just fluff their dress and get them down the aisle.

I’m also more than just a wedding planner. I am a master event designer. I apply creative and technical solutions to enhance the function and quality of the space to create a celebrity-like wedding. I have a keen eye for design, I pay attention to every detail, and I am a complete perfectionist. I act as a bride’s personal interior designer giving her wedding a personal style with a professional, cohesive look to add definition and create the wow factor that will keep the couple’s guests talking.

What is the process like to work with me:  Plan. Design. Reveal. At Wedding Day Creations, that is exactly what clients receive. I take a couple’s wedding planning and designing off their shoulders but never out of their hands. That starts with a personal consultation where I will get to know the two – their style, their stories. Then, Wedding Day Creations will combine meticulous step by step planning with impeccable design and attention to detail to create the wedding of their dreams.  Which leaves them free to relax and enjoy the most important day of their lives.

 Why did I choose  Doodle Dog:  I wasn’t picking up much clientele, and I decided I needed a better, more consistent brand to stick out.  Favorite part of my new design:  That it is consistent. I love the colors. I love that it is a little bit country with a little bit of fashion just like me. Family:  I got married to my wonderful husband Trevor in 2008. We have two boys, Brayden (4) and Colby (21 mo.). Colby is really big for his age and Brayden is little. They look exactly the same. Everyone thinks I have twins! I have one dog. Her name is Dixie! Where do I like to shop:  I love to shop at Cavender’s, Boot Barn, fungirly rustic boutique’s in small towns, rustic furniture and accessory shops, White House Black Market, Macy’s, Dillards, and Target! Describe yourself and your style:  I am a country girl at heart. I love to be out on the ranch whether I’m hunting or not. I love hanging with the guys. I love wearing my boots. But then again, I can’t leave my house without makeup on even on the ranch. I love bling, and I love cute trendy clothes. I love heels and handbags. Where do I find inspiration:  I find inspiration through pictures either in magazines or through the internet. I love finding a picture on Pinterest that isn’t quite right. Something is wrong with the design and then using it within my design and seeing the difference. I also love David Tutera. His design work is impeccable.
