The Allan House now has a new website!

We are pleased to announce a fresh new website for The Allan House, a charming event center located in the heart of Downtown Austin, Texas. Hosting a number of functions including wedding receptions and charity events, The Allan House was looking for a way to improve their website experience for potential clients as well as their online visibility. We were happy to help by creating a website that is user friendly, organized, branded and optimized to make sure everyone is able to find a great venue to host their next event. The home page proudly displays a slideshow of past events so no moment is ever forgotten at The Allan House.

Event Branding for Hitched Bridal Crawl

It’s always fun to do event branding because no two projects are alike. When we were asked to create the branding and marketing designs for the Hitched Bridal Crawl, we were excited to create something bright and fun rather than the pink script that is so typical with your average bridal show. Here is the logo we designed for the event:

After creating the logo, we went on to create the marketing pieces, which included a poster, postcard, map to be handed out to attendees and more…

I hope that all of the newly engaged brides can stop by the bridal crawl in Lewisville, Texas this Saturday the 18th. There will be a ton of wonderful vendors set up, and you can even see the Doodle Dog line of wedding branding at the Pulp Letterpress Shop on Main Street! Don’t miss the event!!

Thursday Therapy goes Nationwide with a Brand Identity

In 2009, Michelle Loretta of Sage Wedding Pros began a venture to bring wedding pros together at a social event she entitled, “Tuesday Toast.” After working closely with Michelle, Kelly Simants of Sage Wedding Pros sought to introduce the idea on Texas turf, bringing what has evolved into Thursday Therapy to Dallas. The monthly meetings have become a calendar staple for wedding pros across the DFW area, and it wasn’t long before Doodle Dog was brought into the mix to create a brand identity and online marketing source for the event that has now spanned nationwide. Thursday Therapy’s iconic brand graphic is sleek and slender, with martini and olive to capitalize on its esteem as high-class, laid-back, and fun for working professionals.

The look didn’t stop there, next we moved on to create marketing and promotional materials. Carrying the logo throughout, we also added aqua polka dots, hints of dark red, white and silver. From party favor tags, host invitations, call-to-action cards and even a 20 page host instruction manual the brand theme was sophisticated, sleek and memorable.

Next up, we wanted to create an online presence. First a nationwide host recruiter and informational based website, and then an individual site for each and every city that comes on board.
