According to a various studies and statistics of teenagers done in the last year, when asked about their social networking habits, results have shown a decrease of enthusiasm on traditional social networking sites including Facebook. While Facebook is still the most used social network ranking well above the rest, teenagers seem to be slowly distancing themselves from it at a steady rate every year. The average age of Facebook users in the U.S. has bumped up to between 32-36 years. Teenagers have now veered toward apps like Pinterest, SnapChat, Instagram, Twitter and Vine. The increase in diversification of the social networkers can only make us question what to expect in the future when these tweens and teens because our primary target demographic.
