You check in for the place you’re going and your friends can come meet you up later. To get started, download the foursquare app to start checking in to your favorite places – coffee shops, bars, restaurants and parks. Users can also earn badges by checking in at locations with certain tags, for check-in frequency or for other patterns such as time of check-in. ——————————– The Search results lets you type the name of a person, tag or venue. The search drop prompts you to include the city in which it resides to narrow it down for you. The Venues will populate with the most accurate words in your search. In this example, I typed Dr. Pepper Park and it found ‘Dr. Pepper Ballpark’ as the closest search possible. The icon or ‘badge’ that is found next to the name is also a key to know that you’re results are what you’re looking for. I was looking for the ballpark so there is a ‘baseball’ icon found next the business name. This is the screen after I selected the first choice: Dr. Pepper Ballpark. It allows you to locate it on the map and follows you through the specific check-ins and number of people who are at that location at this time.
