If you have been following our last two posts you know that we’ve been introducing some unique save the date ideas…so far we’ve talked about a vintage themed postcard style save the date and a concert style ticket save the date for a swanky Dallas wedding celebration. The third unique save the date (and possibly the most unique out of all 3) took quite a bit of hand assembly for the Doodle Dog team but we pulled it off and created 125 pop up save the dates for a local venue coordinator, Lauren. Lauren and Cory wanted to send their guests something very unique that showed off their style, personality and the detail that will be going into each and ever element of this wedding. As you can tell the save the date arrives in the mailbox like any other in a flat envelope and folded as a 4X5.5 style card. The outside is covered in a deep eggplant purple with pops of a jewel tone green. When you open the invite Lauren and Cory literally pop out at you from the flat invitation! Once opened the save the date can be folded back to a small piece and tucked away as needed or will stand alone – so rather than being the typical refrigerator piece it can actually sit on it’s own. We hope that this will be one that guests will hold on to! Tell us what you think of it!
