Photographer, Junebug Company, Gets a New Logo and Packaging Design

Today we’re releasing a custom-designed brand that hits just the right mix of quirky and elegant. Nadia Huerta, owner of Junebug Company, felt that her old logo and brand elements didn’t express her photography’s gorgeous balance of vintage- elegance. With a new hand-lettered logo and custom-illustrated June bug, Nadia’s new brand personality is one-of-a-kind. We also created her new business card and print collateral designs to complete this brand identity project, and we must say… we’re sort of in love with the way this one turned out!

Sweet and Nettle Photography’s New Logo Design

I absolutely love this new creation that we did for Amanda Williams, owner of Sweet + Nettle Photography, a Dallas and Ft. Worth photographer who just recently launched her newly branded business! Amanda was looking for a logo design unlike anyone else in the industry. She didn’t want it to be scripty, swirly or pretty. She wanted something with a little edge, something rustic and retro with a “punch of coolness.” When we showed Amanda her logo for the first time, she said, “I absolutely LOVE it! I think it is so much different than any other logo i’ve ever seen, SO UNIQUE!!” (exactly what we were hoping she’d say). We look forward to helping Sweet + Nettle grow and develop their brand along the way. Keep an eye out for their fresh face in the industry.

Florida Wedding Photographers, Caroline and Evan Photography, Get a New Brand Identity

Caroline & Evan (originally known as CSE Photography) first found Doodle Dog Advertising through Sage Wedding Pros and contacted them about a complete overhaul of their branding identity. Early in the process, their company’s name was changed to from CSE Photography to Caroline & Evan Photography to seem more relatable and memorable to their clients, even before the initial meeting. Ultimately, Doodle Dog created a new logo, website design, blog design, business cards, and promotional pieces for Caroline & Evan. Caroline & Evan, a cute, young, married couple, have an incredible love for comic art, pop art, and anything Andy Warhol. They wanted to brand themselves as different than the traditional wedding photographers in the industry. Caroline & Evan’s brand epitomizes their individual personalities, from the different fonts, to the heart which represents the idea that two is better than one. East Texas Event Planner gets a brand identity and website

We were so excited when the very talented Amy Hall, of Host Events came to Doodle Dog in search of a branding agency to design and develop her new identity for her event planning business. Amy, originally from East Texas had spent the most recent part of her career working in New York City for ELLE Group, ELLE DECOR and Metropolitan Home, finding her niche in event coordination at ELLE DECOR, she decided to launch Host Event Design. So, in an attempt to match her personal design personality and give Host Events a unique, swanky and sophisticated look we created a bold and impactful logo…

And then we started in on her website design. Keeping in the same design mode we used mostly black and white, with a touch of a pale orange, blue and geometric pattern that pops up from place to place throughout the site. We also added a few fun details with icons along the navigation bar.

Thursday Therapy goes Nationwide with a Brand Identity

In 2009, Michelle Loretta of Sage Wedding Pros began a venture to bring wedding pros together at a social event she entitled, “Tuesday Toast.” After working closely with Michelle, Kelly Simants of Sage Wedding Pros sought to introduce the idea on Texas turf, bringing what has evolved into Thursday Therapy to Dallas. The monthly meetings have become a calendar staple for wedding pros across the DFW area, and it wasn’t long before Doodle Dog was brought into the mix to create a brand identity and online marketing source for the event that has now spanned nationwide. Thursday Therapy’s iconic brand graphic is sleek and slender, with martini and olive to capitalize on its esteem as high-class, laid-back, and fun for working professionals.

The look didn’t stop there, next we moved on to create marketing and promotional materials. Carrying the logo throughout, we also added aqua polka dots, hints of dark red, white and silver. From party favor tags, host invitations, call-to-action cards and even a 20 page host instruction manual the brand theme was sophisticated, sleek and memorable.

Next up, we wanted to create an online presence. First a nationwide host recruiter and informational based website, and then an individual site for each and every city that comes on board.
