We are always excited to share some fun party invites with you and of course niece number one’s invitations (for any occasion) always make the blog. As with a lot of 2 year olds, Aubrey loves Elmo! In fact Elmo and the rest of the Sesame Street gang actually get much more recognition than any of us 🙂 So showing Aubrey her invitation as well as the rest of her party decor that my sister Jen of Homemade by Holman created was a lot of fun and the party was not to be forgotten! Here’s a look at how it all came together.

Save the Dates can come in all shapes and sizes and are often the “fun” piece of your stationery suite that all of the best weddings and events take advantage to introduce the mood, style, personality and theme of the event. We have created a ton of postcard style save the dates in the past because so many couples want to include a picture of themselves and also find an affordable option in producing their save the dates – these save the dates are generally the perfect addition to your guest’s refrigerator – but not always the perfect introduction as to why your event will standout from the rest. So when Jessica (an event coordinator herself at a downtown hotel) came to us and explained the not one, but two very unique and themed wedding celebrations she was having we thought it would be a perfect opportunity to show people what her events were all about.
The first unique save the date that we want to share with you was one that we created recently for a small (ish) intimate ceremony at a 100 year old church in the rustic-country town of Scotland, Texas would be a sweet, romantic ceremony with a small reception. So in order to give guests a “teaser” into what they would be experiencing at this event we created a two sided postcard with a vintage design and tea stained old paper background. Each element is designed to fit the style of the event and we can’t wait to create the invitation which will carry out the theme and give guests even more to be excited about!
