Pulp Letterpress studio in Lewisville understands the importance of maintaining customer delight. Honoring customers’ loyalty not only boosts their patron esteem, but boosts your business as a vendor, keeping the flow of traffic coming back for more. In light of Pulp’s desire to keep customer interest a top priority, we designed these custom punch cards for the letterpress shop.
The punch card gives frequent buyers the opportunity to receive reward in return for their faithfulness to Pulp Letterpress once ten purchases have been recorded on it. It is both a fun and proactive way for both parties to say, “I appreciate your business!”

Do you know Deanie Michelle? She is such a talented, organized and dedicated planner in the DFW area that is the perfect addition to you next big event. After recruiting Deanie for my own personal wedding (about 2 weeks before the big day) and watching her execute everything i had planned, I was very excited to have the opportunity to help her out with her new branding.
Deanie came to us with a logo that she was ok with and liked elements of but not excited about. So we kept the idea of having a flower (just made it a bit more modern and less Hawaiian) and also used the original colors as inspiration blended them to be a bit more cohesive. The changes were all made with her target market as well as her style and personality in mind. Here is a look at the logo and business card makeover:
And a look at her new cards…
Take the chance to get to know Deanie below and make sure and contact her for your wedding or event at: email@example.com .
We asked Deanie to tell us about her business…
2. How long have you been in business?
2 years, planning for over 3
3. What do you do? (Short summary describing your business)
Deanie Michelle Events is a full service boutique wedding and event coordination firm. We plan, design, and coordinate weddings, non-profit fundraisers, social functions, and any event that gives you a reason to celebrate. We offer week-of, partial, and full planning, as well as customized packages.
4. Why did you start your business?
I have a background in retail management, apparel wholesale sales, and fashion merchandising. But ever since I was real young I always knew I would eventually own my own business. I’ve always had a real entrepreneurial spirit! After helping a few friends plan their weddings and different events, I realized that event planning and coordination was my true passion and calling. I started out doing an apprenticeship with another planner to gain experience and hands on training. I got certified as a wedding and event planner, started Deanie Michelle Events, and haven’t looked back.
5. What is unique about your business?
I try to live my my Dad’s famous 3 rules; have fun, have fun, and have fun. Planning a wedding or event can be stressful; budgets, emotions, trying to please everyone, etc…, but I truly believe that the planning process for any wedding or event should be fun! I like to not only make planning simple and stress free for clients, I like to make it fun. If a client can look back and say the planning process was just as fun as the actual event, than I have done my job.
6. What is the process like to work with you?
We are dependable, creative, and good problem solvers. We ultimately allow our clients to enjoy the planning process and to be a guest at their own event!
7. Why did you decide to work with Doodle Dog?
Nikki was actually one of my brides. I was immediately impressed and blown away with how well branded her own wedding was. She literally thought of everything in terms of branding her event! I thoroughly enjoyed getting to know Nikki throughout the process of her wedding, and had a blast working with her. And I just knew that Nikki and would do an amazing job on my new logo and biz cards.
We asked her a little about herself…
8. Tell us about your family.
I am the oldest of 3 girls, and am extremely close to both of my sisters and to my parents. All though we don’t all live in the same city we talk, text, and visit each other all the time. I’m married to my wonderful husband…we just celebrated our second anniversary, but we have been together for over 7 years! We have 2 fur babies, dogs, who are the absolute loves of my life.
9. Do you have any pets? What are their names?
Of course! I’m a huge dog lover! We have 2 pups, Bear (black lab) and Kansas (Cavalier King Charles Spaniel). And we’ve been known to have a stray dog or two around.
10. Where do you like to shop?
The real question should be where don’t I like to shop 😉
11. Describe yourself and your style.
I’m a perfectionist. I’m very feminine…a true girlie girl. I love to have fun, and to work hard and to play hard.
12. Where do you find inspiration?
I find inspiration everywhere! Whether it’s looking at bridal or fashion magazines, shopping, or just out walking my dogs…there’s inspiration all around us. But most of all, I find my clients to be the most inspirational…to take their vision and make it a reality is what it’s all about.
A Day in the life of you consist of:
Oh boy! A day in the life of Deanie is never ever the same twice. But as a general rule I like to start my day with a workout. I have a bit of an addiction to the elliptical, I also enjoy weight lifting, yoga, and pilates. My intern comes on most Mondays and Wednesdays. The rest of the day is usually filled with appointments with clients and vendors, working on event details and timelines, and lots of phone calls and emails. In the evening I try to attend a few networking events each month, but mostly I enjoy time with my husband cooking dinner and relaxing. Event days are a whole other story…
Dallas Florist Kristen Wolchik sought to add more “bells and whistles” to her business identity, Haute Floral – more luxury. The product? A flourishing, chic logo to fancy the curves of a di-cut business card printed on pearl paper stock gives Haute the high-class of its namesake.
Stay tuned for Haute Floral’s new website on the way!
