Introducing the latest in vintage rental companies, Dallas based Dixie Does Vintage. Owner, Denise, wanted to create a company to showcase her (huge) inventory of custom furniture pieces, dishes and more. It was important to have a website that could show all products – in an ecommerce platform – but allow visitors to select products to add to their wishlist so they have a full list of items to budget for, request, or talk to the Dixie team about.
Take a look at the logo design and website below.
We are excited to introduce a new event planner to the industry, SheridaAikins of Michigan.
Here’s a note from Sherida, “At Mylaija Andress Event Planning we’re dedicated to making sure your vision comes to life. We pay close attention to detail while handling every aspect of your special occasion’s operation. We’re with you from beginning to end and beyond. We provide each event with a design unique to your style and vision. With over half a decade of experience, we’re certain we’ll plan an event that will provide a lifetime of memories.”
Sherida came to us in search of a classic, elegant brand identity that would help her connect with her target demographic and increase the amount of event planning leads she was getting from her website. She wanted a neutral color palette with a pop of fresh color.

We had such a great time working with the very talented midwest photographer and videographer, Maura of Creative Films.
Maura had an existing logo and brand but was looking for a site that would compliment it nicely and bring a fresh, clean and modern look to her online presence. Here’s a look at her new site!
Want to get to know Maura bit more? We asked her a few questions so you could do just that! How long have you been in business? 11 years
What do you do? I am a filmmaker and photographer and specialize in fine art wedding films and promotional videos for small and medium sized businesses. I also have a photography business and photograph babies, children and families.
Why did you start your business? I have always made art and done photography. Before I started this business I was an art teacher. I learned video through one of my students who was doing an independent study and wanted to play around with multi-media video projects. We learned Final Cut Pro together and I fell in love with video and editing.
What is unique about your business? I think I can tell the story of a new family or business in a way that is authentic and heartfelt. The wedding day is full of so many intimate moments between two families coming together and so much can be told both with AUDIO and a moving image that creates a very strong story. There is something so special about hearing your Dad’s voice from his toast while you are dancing with him on your wedding day, or getting to relive your vows so intensely. I approach corporate work in a similar way. I love getting to know a client and telling THEIR story in a way that is unique to them.
What is the process like to work with you? Most clients start with an email banter or a chat on the phone. I like meeting my wedding clients at my studio to share work and learn more about their wedding day. I typically meet corporate clients at their place of business or the location where we will do the filming to get an idea of what we will be working with at the actual shoot. Photography clients are almost always on location at their home or park. I find that young ones are so much more comfortable on their own turf. The timeline with each project is different, but we are always in contact with the client letting them know where they stand in the process and when the project will be completed.
Why did you decide to work with Doodle Dog? Several of my friends have used Doodle Dog and were very happy!
What’s your favorite part of your new look? I like that we were able to combine what used to be three websites into one and that is has a clean, uncluttered look!
About You: Tell us about your family. I have a daughter and son and a very wonderful husband.
Do you have any pets? What are their names? Two dogs, Ned and Tes, both named after awesome little towns in Colorado.
Where do you like to shop? I’m not a big shopper – I would rather spend my time with my family, but I can lose control pretty quick on the Title9 website!
Describe yourself and your style. I am a pretty natural girl. You get what you see, and if you ask me I will tell you what I think!
Where do you find inspiration? I am part of a group of women filmmakers from all over the US and we meet yearly for a retreat called POSH Retreat. These women are my inspiration and I look forward to seeing them every year and hopefully several times in between each retreat!
A Day in the life of you consist of: My day in the life isn’t too interesting… I get up at 5:30, head to my crossfit bootcamp and home in time to get the kids ready for school. Spend all day editing, meeting with clients, or working with other vendors, and back to pick up the kids after school. My husband and I try to go to lunch together several times a week as it is pretty great to have a conversation just with him!
What is your web address? www.creativefilmskc.com
Phone Number: 913.634.3487
Is there anything else you would like to mention? I really loved working with the team at Doodledog and thank my POSHETTE friends for recommending them. They made what could have been a stressful process seamless and I am so happy with the result!
Sarah De Jesus, New Jersey based wedding and event planner, came to us to get a fabulous new blogsite that was clean, organized, easy to navigate and most importantly was convenient for her to update on her own. Sarah was looking for a design that included the bold blue and green tones that she had already been working with in her logo and resembled the fun loving brand personality that she had. Sarah does a ton of themed parties for all occasions so we did need to keep in mind that she would need a very clean canvas to showcase her photography and not take away from the designs she had created. So we designed her site with a mostly white background with elements of playful fun dropped throughout every page. From the dot burst around the logo to the wavy lines and nostalgic quotes that vary from page to page, every element was considered.
Here is a look at the site.
Dreamers Joy has been featured on quite a few sites, like Hostess with the Mostess, The Martha Stewart Blog and Catch My Party, just to name a few… so we wanted to be sure to “show off” to prospective clients on our Press page.

We were thrilled when Chelsea, Dallas based stationery designer, came to us in search of a little help with her blog. We love her amazing designs and unique stationery concepts and it was fun to be a part of creating her new website. Since Chelsea primarily sells custom designs her website was a place to showcase her portfolio, link to her Etsy shop and tell her visitors a little about her and Southern Fried Paper. It was very important to Chelsea to have the ability to update and change details and photos on her website on her own and with little effort, so we created Chelsea’s site entirely in WordPress (a simple content management system for websites). Most importantly we wanted to make sure we built a website that could grow right along with Chelsea and her business!
