This week we will be giving you tips on how to make your name, brand, and business stand out from the rest. Everyone knows that first impressions are essential. if you’re a photographer, how would you want to be remembered among the other photographers? If you’re a wedding planner, how do you let people know you are one of the best planners out there? Your branding is found on your business card, letterhead, tags, website and promotional items. We usually undermine promotional items because we think “Oh they are going to throw it away anyway”….when in reality this could be your hit and miss in receiving more recognition. So the trick is standing out, making yourself memorable and giving them something they want to hang on to, whether it’s a great deal, selling point or useful item. So whenever we have the ability to give out promotional items we try to follow the rules above. Most recently we gave out business card holders as a promotional item for Thanksgiving on Main Street celebration…. We added a mini-brochure inside the card holder about what Doodle Dog can offer…. So, put your thinking caps on and make sure your next promotional item stand out. Make sure it is:

• Creates Brand Awareness

• Is Memorable

• Contains something of value (whether it’s a discount or a keep sake)
