How Can Colors Affect Advertising
Does blue really mean you’re ‘blue’?
Colors have hidden meanings when its represented in the advertising world. If you’re making a website that’s talking about sports, you wouldn’t necessarily want to put purple and pink as the background color for the site. Who do you think it’s going to attract? There goes the beer drinking man’s ego getting flushed down through the sensitive tunnel and he most likely will never visit the site again. Now if you put green or blue as the background color of a Sports Club website, lets say we have redeemed the macho man pork-rind lover back to its natural habitat.
We must always remember that we have to use colors to sell the idea of what is being shown and not how we like or dislike a color for personal taste.
