

- Website Update: at this time last year, our website didn’t reflect Doodle Dog’s evolved personality. Our business and clientele had matured, but our online presence wasn’t keeping up with us. The previous site had served us well for many years, but it was time for an online overhaul… sure thing, we’ll squeeze that right in. Making time for your own brand is never easy, but it has to be a priority! We took the plunge and defined a website development goal at the BeSage Conference. With action-oriented steps, our big ideas became tasks we could realistically complete. One year later, here we are with a fresh online presence that better expresses who we are today. Our site traffic has gone up, we are attracting clients who are a good fit with our brand, and we’ve received tons of compliments on the new look. High fives, team!
- Custom Client Management System: the website alone wasn’t enough to cover all our big ideas. We also wanted an online tool that would streamline our client experience process. With a lot of intense work, we completed that goal! Doodle Dog now offers an easy, customized client portal that facilitates project updates, revision requests, content collection, and more. We’ve received great feedback on this streamlined process so far, and we’re constantly pushing it to be even more user-friendly. We have to give a shout out to our lead developer Cody for his hours spent executing and continually fine-tuning this big idea that we came up with at BeSage.
- Client Launch Gifts: BeSage also helped us realize that we were lacking in one particular area: client launch and post launch excitement. Doodle Dog launches new sites and brands every day, so we sometimes fell short in appropriately celebrating the big moment for our clients. After all, they’ve invested a lot of time and thought in this project—launch day deserves a huge reveal! BeSage inspired us to get creative and better celebrate Launch Day alongside our clients. Now, Doodle Dog Launch Days come with bigger cheers, awesome surprise goodies, and helpful tips to maximize exposure for every launch.
- Expand the Team: finally, BeSage helped us develop goals for team growth. Our brand and clientele had expanded; our team needed to expand along with our business to accommodate our growing client list. This year, we added two awesome full-time employees to the Doodle Dog Team. Sarah had been with us as a junior designer for awhile, but transitioned to designing full-time after her December graduation. Chris, our most recent addition, hopped on board not too long after. His development skills have helped launch tons of sites so far, and we’re excited to have him in the office. With a small team, it’s essential to find employees who are a perfect fit with our personality. Our expanded team makes us stronger than ever, and ready to tackle Doodle Dog’s next steps.
