Take a minute now to meet the person behind this creative branding design: the real-life Loreen. Why did you start your business? Reenie Rose originally started when a family friend asked me to create a painting as a wedding gift. The result was a painting of the bride’s bouquet and a realization that there was not a resource for this type of memorabilia in the industry. I started out as a painter and evolved into the creative go-to for customizing a wedding day with personal details.
What is unique about your business? I customize all of my projects to the client’s needs and style. I love hearing about and understanding what a client has envisioned for a project or helping them verbalize something so visual. In the end, they receive a product no one else has, and we have worked together to bring that vision to life.
What’s on your Playlist? I rely on Pandora to pick my music, and lately my stations of choice are Hozier or Florence and the Machine.
Where do you find inspiration? It’s amazing the inspiration my clients bring to me. Much of it is found through Pinterest which tends to be one of my greatest tools as well.
Why did you decide to work with Doodle Dog? I am a big advocate of Thursday Therapy here in Chicago. When I noticed that Doodle Dog did their website, I did some additional research and really loved the aesthetic of the work they produce.
Why did you feel the time was right to kick-off this project? My business has really evolved into more than just paintings, so it was time to have a resource where I could show my future clients the full scope of my work and what I am capable of envisioning for them.
What’s your favorite part of your new site? The colors! I am a color person so being able to incorporate color into my site without detracting from my work was really important to me.
What advice would you give to someone considering a rebrand or relaunch? It is an undertaking and your business is a living, breathing thing that will continue to evolve as you evolve. Committing to a design is a big decision, but stick to it once you do commit and put the blinders on to the ever changing trends so you aren’t tempted to continuously change your mind.
