Jennifer Crenshaw Brand Design Update

Doodle Dog goes way back with Dallas-based photographer Jennifer Crenshaw. We first crafted her original brand and website back in 2012, when she had only been in business for about a year. Since then, we have loved watching her business boom with new appointments and happy clients! With the growth of Jennifer’s clientele, we also saw a shift in demographic as Jennifer’s business began to attract a more specific target market. For that reason, we worked together with Jennifer to refresh her brand in a way that would appeal to her desired demographic.

When we design an updated brand and website for a client like Jennifer, we seek the perfect balance between brand recognition and a polished update. We don’t want to lose existing clientele in our efforts to pursue a new target audience. Over time (and growth!), it’s important to keep your brand focused on the clients you want to attract. The tricky part is to do that while holding onto what you’ve built in existing client trust and brand recognition.

For Jennifer Crenshaw, we evolved a brand that still had lots to loveā€”but a more specific audience to attract. We cleaned up this photographer’s brand for a more crisp, simple, and elegant look that will better appeal to her changing clientele. Her responsive website is also a new addition that brought Jennifer’s modern update to digital life. However, we held onto recognizable brand elements like Jennifer’s signature color blocks. We also kept the same look for Jennifer’s refreshed logo, but with a new typeface that better speaks to her polished brand update. We think Jennifer and her target demographic are going to fall in love with this updated brand and website:
