We recently had the opportunity to work with local skin care professional Marcy, of MSE Esthetics on her new brand and website. I’ve known Marcy for almost a decade and actually had the chance to work with her when I was the Office Manager at a Spa in college. Want to get to Marcy a bit more? We asked her a few questions so you could do just that… How long have you been in business? I have nearly 10 years’ experience in the skin care field working with various Laser Hair Removal and Skin Care facilities; however, I began offering more personalized skin care in March of 2012. What do you do? Working in coordination with Contemporary Women’s Care in Carrollton, TX, I offer Skin Care with Medical Expertise. My services include Facials, Chemical Peels, Vibradermabrasion and Dermaplaning, as well as Botox injections and Juvaderm or Radiesse Fillers. What is unique about your business? What’s unique about my business is that I am a horrible sales person. I think there is something inherently wrong with pushing a product or service on someone that they don’t actually need. That said, if you come to me with a skin care concern, you can feel comfortable that I will only recommend services or products that would be of benefit to your particular skin condition….any nothing more! Why did you decide to work with Doodle Dog? I researched several different businesses that offered web building services, the examples of the websites that Doodle Dog created just appeared much more clean and elegant which I felt was very fitting to my business. What’s your favorite part of your new look? Nikki listened to the look I was going for and created a website and promotional materials consistent with what I envisioned. The website and promo pieces are all tied together. All the features I suggested were also incorporated into the website, like a “Book Now” functionality and the ability for my clients to reorder skin care products online. About You: Tell us about your family. I’ve been married for over 15 years and have one daughter. Do you have any pets? What are their names? I have 3 dogs and 2 cats. The Black lab is Sadie, Miniature Dachsund is Heidi, and Border Collie/Sheppard mix is Bailey. My cats names are Ivan and Zack (after one of the dragons on The dragon Tales show….wonder who named this one). My husband hates having so many animals, but my daughter and I are such animal freaks we can’t help it.
