Pretty in Plaid – Baby Shower

While visiting my home state of Iowa this past weekend, we had a jammed packed schedule… I flew in on Wednesday and started baking pies with my mom, had Thanksgiving on Thursday, CRAZY 2 am shopping on Friday, and my sister’s baby shower on Saturday. Being that Jen (my sister) a.k.a Homemade by Holman loves to bake and cook and I love to make my little signs, tags, invites etc. we created the pretty in plaid baby shower. Using almost all leftovers from thanksgiving we made lots of little appetizers and bite size treats. From the mac and cheese bites to the sweet cinnamon pumpkin cupcakes everything was so tasty and perfect for the cold Iowa weather.

I also made a few signs to tie everything together and to resemble the baby shower invitations that I made a few months back….you can look back at what they looked like here.

And lastly Jen baked cookies so that we could wrap up little bags for everyone to take to go, so I made little tags and wrapped them in ribbon to make them match everything and look cute!
