Well, sorry for the lack of posts over the last 2 weeks, but as many of you might know I got married to my best friend on the 29th of May and just returned from the trip of a lifetime last night. My husband (that’s going to take some getting used to) and I went to Costa Rica for our honeymoon for a week and stayed did as many adventures as we could find. We arrived in San Jose on the 31st and had a 3 hour drive ahead of us to get to the rainforest, once we arrived at Arenal Nayara in the heart of the rainforest and very close to the Arenal Volcano, it was the most beautiful site that I had ever seen! Here are some pics of where we stayed. Instead of a tradtional hotel room, we stayed in a cabin/bungalow type room, so each room had it’s own private balcony, jacuzzi and outdoor showers, when you sat on the balcony this is what you would see right in front of you. We would even hear the volcano have mini eruptions from our room (this is the view from our patio) While in Arenal we went white water rafting, hiked to an awesome waterfall and took a lift to the top of a mountain right next to the rumbling volcano and zip lined down. Next we took a van to Papagayo Gulf on the coast of Costa Rica, where we stayed at the Occidental Grand Papagayo Here we Kayaked, took ATVs into the jungle and saw tons of wildlife. We also rented a car one day and drove to Playa Tamarindo where we were able to surf. OVERALL IT HAS BEEN THE BEST TWO WEEKS I HAVE EVER HAD. HAVING ALL OF MY FAMILY AND FRIENDS HERE FOR THE REHEARSAL DINNER AND WEDDING WAS AMAZING AND TO TOP IT ALL OFF….THIS TRIP WAS FAN-FREAKIN-TASTIC! Over the next few days I’ll start posting pictures of all of the projects that I did for the wedding and the ceremony and reception itself!
