A spicy couple's shower

What do you get if you mix a pinata filled with mini plastic liquor bottles, spicy food and a festive turquoise, chocolate brown and burnt yellow invitation? You get one hell of a fun couples shower! This assignment was a little different for me, since the invitation request came from 3 of my best friends who were throwing my fiance and I a couples shower. They wanted me to make an invitation for the party to send out to all of our friends. So first I though to myself, it’s not all about mariachis and maracas (i have no idea if that’s how you spell either of those words)…. it can still be a trendy-fun invitation while it screams “fiesta”. So here is what I came up with and what we sent out to our friends. The party was a great success! I had so much fun, and so did everyone else. So thank you Marcy, Lesha, and Mallory for all of your hard work, great food, decorations, and thought that you put into the shower. Here are a few pictures from the night… We ended up stopping by a bar close to our house where the weather had caused the band not to show up so Tommy (my fiance) and Preston (our good friend and Tommy’s old band mate) got on stage and played the entire night for all of us! A night to remember 🙂
