Since she was a little girl, she dreamt of beautiful events and spaces. Today, her dreams have come true with Terri Smith Details. We wanted to create a brand identity and online experience that felt like you were stepping into a world of cool, calming hues, with a plethora of whimsical inspiration. As you browse through the Terri Smith Details collection and create a wishlist for your event, you’re able to see your vision coming to life. Using the inventory management system RW Elephant, we were able to create a seamless online experience that allows the TSD team to easily manage their inventory (both on and offline) as well as showcase their aesthetic to new visitors.
We started the design process as we always do, with a creative discovery call, talking about the target demographic, inspirational brands, desired aesthetic, and more. Throughout the process, we designed a logo that is simple, minimalistic, and elegant for the existing brand and will also work well as the brand continues to grow and branch into additional markets. Once the logo design, brand standards, color palette, and typography were established, we created a completely custom WordPress website design and inventory integration.
We always feel so lucky to work with clients who have the most beautiful imagery for their brands. Not only does this help us set the stage for the entire experience, but it also completes the design and reinforces expectations for the user.

We are thrilled to welcome Lux Event Rentals with an event rentals website design to the Doodle Dog family. Lux, a San Francisco based event rentals company, came to us in search of creating a digital experience for his visitors. He wanted to save himself time by integrating his inventory management system, RW Elephant. Managing a large amount of inventory and keeping up with professional, cohesive photography is a time consuming task on its own, by integrating his existing platform to his custom WordPress website Lux Event Rentals will have a cohesive, synced collection across all platforms.

Hello there! I’m Nick, a creative, brother, uncle, curator, and owner of Lux Event Rentals. It was after owning and operating the Urban Jumble, an antique and salvage retail store in the East Bay, that I found my passion for curating, styling and helping people express their individuality through event styling and design. Creating beauty through the artful mingling of curating and repurposing is my true passion. What began with a rental here and there evolved into Lux Event Rentals, a boutique rental company set out to enliven events with character and personality.
The collection began with some of my favorite pieces and décor items from my retail store, but is constantly evolving to meet the diverse and eclectic styles of our clients.
