We absolutely love working with our clients as their brands grow and develop! Years ago we created the Charming Events brand design when owner, Alicia came to us as a startup small business. Most recently, Alicia came back in search of a brand update that would allow her to keep the same recognizable features of her successful brand while giving it a bit of a facelift. Her business had grown – she was no longer a one-woman show and she needed a brand and custom WordPress website design that would feel sophisticated and approachable at the same time.

Why did you start your business?
We wanted to offer a reasonably priced product/flowers to everyday brides. That combined with a passion for flowers and event planning, was enough to light the fire and get a business up and running!

What is unique about your business?
Besides the fact that we offer such a wide range of services, the people of Charming are what make us stand above the rest. We know that there are many florists to choose from in the Dallas market, but when you leave our office or boutique, we want you to feel like you have just had a conversation with a friend. We truly feel like we are personally connected with our couples, and customers, and when you leave us or we haven’t seen you in a while, we truly miss you.

What’s on your Playlist?
It’s a melting pot – just like me! Anything from Bob Marley to Gary Clark, Jr., to Kacey Musgraves. And we’re jamming to all of it most days. 🙂

Where do you find inspiration?
In everything! Lipstick colors, nature, people, random products at Home Depot like zip ties (ha!), God’s word, and I love to see how other florist use the same products that I do and design them in completely different ways.

Why did you decide to work with Doodle Dog?
When I first started working with Doodle Dog, I called them up without knowing anything about them and gave them one month to deliver a logo, business card design, and promo piece so that I could participate in the Ft. Worth Star Telegram bridal show. Fast forward 5 years and here we are refreshing the original brand and designing a custom website. I love that Nikki has such a passion for what she does and delivers a high-end, unique product, made just for us!

Why did you feel the time was right to kick-off this project?
Our company is moving on from our toddler years and entering it’s adolescent years. When we started this business, we were doing wedding flowers “on the side” while we worked full-time jobs. In the last five years, our wedding clientele has really changed – our brides are very focused and passionate about their florals, we’ve left our full-time jobs, opened a storefront, extended our planning services to large scale corporate events and conferences, and added a paperie division. We’d say it was about time for a custom website that can handle as much traffic as we do each day!

What’s your favorite part of your new site or new brand?
The swoosh! We don’t know what I love that swoosh with the trailing heart so much, but we do! We also love that our site is now a one stop shop and loaded with lots of information and beautiful pictures!

What advice would you give to someone considering a rebrand or relaunch?
Be prepared with your content and photos and have an idea of where you want to take your brand.

Is there anything else you would like to mention?
We are so excited to see where this brand refresh and relaunch takes our business. Thank you Doodle Dog!
